Job Summary

The Content Writer / Designer will play a key role in ensuring our customers’, mentors’, and partners’ success by developing original enablement content that educates and inspires. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, insanely curious and creative, exhibits an entrepreneurial spirit, works and plays hard, welcomes feedback, operates independently with a sense of urgency, and harmonizes effortlessly within cross-functional teams.


  • Curate and create compelling, engaging, clear and accurate digital content that teaches different audiences how to use StartupOS to accomplish their business goals
  • Craft short and long-form assets including product copy, practice guides, help articles/FAQs, nudge communiques, storyboards, blogs, interviews/case studies, explainer recordings, videos and demos
  • Work cross functionally with Product, Engineering, Creative, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to review and tailor content to relevant GTM and customer/partner needs and personas
  • Interview industry professionals and incorporate key take-aways in blog posts, practice guides and team discussion
  • Revise content, learning objectives, and delivery methods based on internal/external feedback, process changes, and product releases
  • Participate in team planning and prioritization activities; surface roadblocks and risks, support the development and adoption of new team processes as our staff and customer base expands
  • Leverage user research/discovery methods, product analytics and customer success tools (Pendo, Intercom) to identify, prioritize and address unmet customer content needs and topics
  • Monitor the performance of product support content by establishing and reporting metrics that communicate content value and impact
  • Stay current on best practices in Learning & Development and Experience Design and share your knowledge with the team

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a content creator, copywriter or learning professional creating robust product support or online learning content
  • Strong user research, requirements gathering, planning, writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Proficient with collaboration, design, and product analytics tools such as Google Docs, MS Office, Slack, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, Figma, Intercom, Pendo or similar
  • A knack for finding the right word and visual and making the complex simple and understandable in text and pictures
  • A positive attitude and a passion for crafting extraordinary customer experiences
  • Prior experience in a high-growth, fast-paced B2C SaaS start-up environment, regional incubator/accelerator, corporate or venture studio is highly desirable
  • Proficiency with graphic design (a good eye), screen capture, video recording and editing software is a plus
  • BSc/BA in Marketing, English, Journalism, or relevant field
